As Lent Begins

The Lenten season has begun, but as I reflect on the few days leading to Ash Wednesday, I am still marveling at the number of people and the amount of food that was prepared and served in our Fellowship Hall. My guess is that over just three days, with three great dinners and one marvelous breakfast, the number is somewhere near 1,000. Is it a record? I don't know.
