rally_day_3A listing of children’s discipleship classes that meet from 9:45-10:45 a.m. each Sunday morning, September through mid-June.

9:45-10:45 a.m.  (F&E is the Fellowship and Education Building; A&E is the Activities and Education Building.)

Child Care – Child care is provided for children, infant through two year-olds during Sunday Discipleship and all worship services.  (A&E 102)

Ages 3-4 – will discover God’s love as they hear stories of God’s faithfulness using the PCUSA’s new curriculum Grace & Gratutude.  (A&E 100)

Grades K-5 – New this fall is Sunday Discipleship Rotation for children.  Over the course of nine months and 12 themes, children will explore stories of Scripture through drama, science, cooking, games, crafts, storytelling, and more!  Themes include Creation, Noah, Ruth & Naomi, Annunciation and Birth of Jesus, Jesus Calls the Disciples, the Lord’s Prayer, Good Samaritan, Miracle of the Loaves and Fishes, the Last week with Jesus, Resurrection, Pentecost, and the Early Church.

Each week elementary children will rotate between centers as they explore the Biblical story through a different lens.  For instance, in Creation, children will watch the story of creation in the movie theater, explore art and the creation story through the lens of Michelangelo and the Sistine Chapel, learn the days of creation with games, and retell the creation story in the storytelling workshop.  (F&E 200, 202, and 205)
