The annual CCHASM Thanksgiving Meal Program has been around for years serving our neighbors in need. For Thanksgiving 2022 CCHASM provided 4,192 meal packages (assisting 12,535 adults and children) for residents of Chesterfield, Colonial Heights, Dinwiddie, Hopewell, Petersburg and Prince George.

Your generous donations are greatly needed again this year to help reach even more families with a Thanksgiving meal package and a $20 gift card for perishable items. 

2023 Meal Gift Package Contents:
1 – 40 OZ. CAN (LARGE) OF YAMS OR SWEET POTATOES
1 – 13 OZ. BOX OF MASHED POTATOES
1 – 14 OZ. CAN OF CRANBERRY SAUCE
2 – 15 OZ. CANS OF CORN 
2 – 15 OZ. CANS OF GREEN VEGETABLES 
2 – BOXES OF “Stove Top”®
2 – CANS OR PKGS OF GRAVY- no glass jars
1 – BOX OF HOT CHOCOLATE
1 – BOX OF TEA BAGS
1 – LARGE BOX OR BAG OF COOKIES

Please return the filled bags (doubled up brown bags please!) to the narthex by Sunday, November 12. If you purchase a gift card to go along with your donation bag, please attach it securely to the bag. Please do not add extra items!
