Millions of men have been part of a Men’s Fraternity gathering around the globe, http://mensfraternity.com/meeting_locations/.
We’ve tried to answer as many questions as possible below, but if you have more, feel free to email firstname.lastname@example.org or call/text (919) 766-0361.
Why have so many men participated and why would I be crazy enough to get to a men’s group at 6am?
There are so many reasons, but the number one reason we get from a lot of men is because we men think a lot alike and often we don’t have time to enjoy MAN TIME.
Does it cost anything?
The check’s on us. The only thing it costs is your time in the mornings and a guidebook if you choose to get one. (again not a morning person…keep scrolling)
Do I need a guidebook?
No. The guidebook/workbook is not required to participate, but it does help. We’ll have them for you if you’d like to purchase one to use.
What if I miss a session, don’t start from session 1 or miss a several sessions?
You’ll still get a lot out of the group. While each study does help build on other sessions, the sessions are also independent of each other with the material presented.
I can’t stay for the entire session because I need to leave early.
That’s fine. We have guys that have to do this for various reason. About 10mins at the beginning and 30mins at the end is reserved to be in groups of 3-5 with other men. You’ll find that some men will find a time to get together outside of the group’s meeting time to cover this small group time if they can’t make this time at the end of the session.
Can my friends, coworker or other men I know come with me?
All men are welcome. We encourage you to participate in teams of 3 – 4, but don’t worry about the numbers. Just come with your friend(s) and we’ll take care of the rest.
I don’t know anybody going.
No worries. There are many men who will be coming solo. You’ll find that it’s an incredibly welcoming environment, laid back and nothing is forced on you. We’ll help introduce you to other guys there.
Is this a Bible Study?
No sir. It is not. However, the study does use Biblical principle to help craft a vision for manhood. It is left entirely up to you to craft or modify your current vision of manhood. Ideas are presented but not forced and you have the opportunity in your group to share your vision of manhood as well if you like.
What if I’m not a Christian?
Again, this a men’s group, not a Bible study. Like anything else in life, in order to define something, you have to start with a basis. This study uses Biblical principles, jokes, stories from other men and the men you are with at the study to help you craft a vision for manhood.
I am not a morning person / I despise mornings
This is the number one complaint we get from men. Very few of the men who participate in Men’s Fraternity are morning people, but they get up because once they come once, they love it and sleep on their regular schedules the other 6 days of the week. For a majority of men, it’s the only time that does not interfere with time with their families.
Let’s face it though, some of the best things you’ve probably ever done in life required sacrifice.
…job decisions that allowed you improve the quality of life for you and your family
…getting married or deciding to have children
…moving far away from home to go off to college to discover what’s out there
…deciding to retire early to spend more time with your spouse
…and the list goes on
This Men’s Group is no different. You have to sacrifice staying up late or a little sleep to get there, but the sacrifice is well worth it. Don’t let the time be a hold back. We ask that if you really want to participate, just give it a try for a week or 2 and see what you think. Who knows, maybe you’ll grow into getting up early one day a week as we all have grown into enjoying.
