Sunday School

Adult Sunday Discipleship provides an array of topics to challenge a diverse group of people in their faith journey.

Bible Study (Preschool Building 203) is designed for those who want to take a closer look at Scripture, exploring books and topics found within the Bible.  Past classes have begun with a study of the Holy Spirit.

Faith & Current Events (Preschool Building 204) is a discussion-based class that helps connect current events with faith and Scripture.  When class resumes, participants will receive a weekly Wired Word email that takes a news event from the week and links Scripture to the news story and how we might respond.

Faith & Family (Preschool Building 202) uses multiple short-term studies focusing on the Bible and topical issues pertinent and applicable to families.  Past studies have included Liking JesusChristianity & World ReligionsGod’s Messy FamilyThe Joy Stealers, and much more!

International Class (Preschool Building Gym) is a lecture-based class and the largest of the adult classes.  The class follows the International Lesson curriculum.  Members in this class will follow a thematic, lectionary-based calendar in the study of Scripture.

Life Application (Preschool Building 205) requires no preparation and provides plenty of opportunities to discuss, or to sit back and listen.  Each week offers a stand-alone topic, making it easier to pick-up after being away.  Past studies have included GalatiansEverybody, AlwaysWhisperUnshakeable Hope; and Grateful.

Beyond Sunday

Beyond Sundays is a Christian Education & Discipleship Ministry opportunity to take discipleship outside the church walls throughout the week. These self-generated faith formation ministries, such as Bible studies, mission-focused groups, or interest groups are open to the Salisbury Presbyterian Church congregation and the greater community.

Faith Keepers

Faith Keepers focus is to support one another using a faith-based lens in life’s challenges and celebrations; whether it’s being a mother, wife, daughter or employee; starting a new chapter or a new adventure; using reading prompts from selected texts will facilitate discussion and ultimately how our faith can provide each other support and encouragement as our lives change. This group uses different books to provide a basis for discussion. Possible book topics: biblically based books, prayer, meditation, empowerment, guidance. Faith Keepers meets one Monday each month at a local restaurant (currently Capital Ale House on Midlothian), and usually the 3rd Monday of each month. Woman of all ages are welcome!!
