Salisbury Presbyterian Church is pleased to announce that the 20th Annual Joe Ward Union Presbyterian Seminary Scholarship Golf Tournament is scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday, April 24 at Providence Golf Club. The tournament was the dream of Joe and we are honored to remember him for this initiative that provides an opportunity for someone who is interested in theological education, but not yet committed to pursuing ministry, the chance to attend Union Presbyterian Seminary.

Our efforts over the past nineteen years have provided more than $175,000 for this purpose. The results have been encouraging. Most of the recipients have gone on to complete their degree and to serve in the church. Joe’s vision backed by his determination continues to bear fruit. Our commitment continues and we ask you to support the effort by participating as a captain/golf participant, sponsor or volunteer.

The entry fee is $110 per player for a Captain’s Choice format. It’s also a great event to bring a perspective member, a co-worker or a friend. We can field up to thirty-six teams. Individual hole sponsorships are $100 and corporate sponsorships are $150. Please refer to the sponsorship contribution form for additional information.

Please complete the attached registration form and return it to the church with your contact information, golf handicap and check. We hope many of you will serve as a team captain and line-up others to play in your foursome. This is a great event, for a great cause, and Providence Golf Course is fun to play!
