Fall Study Groups – This year we dive into an eight-week study/small group ministry that includes three opportunities. The groups meet on Tuesdays, September 29 – November 17, 7:00-8:00 p.m. in the A&E building. Signup by calling the church office. Childcare available upon request. The study/small groups:
- Who/What Do You Follow? Come join us for conversation that invites us to live the way Jesus lived, love the way he loved, pray the way he prayed, and never give up living for the One who gave his all for us. Using sources that include Kyle Idleman’s Not a Fan and resources from Ravi Zacharias, we will discern practical ways to live the life of a discple together.
- Connecting the Dots: Applying Scripture to Life Have you tried reading your Bible and sometines you just don’t get it? After all, it was written in a different time; what does this have to do with how I live my life? Through video clips and discussion we will explore eight Biblical principles as we seek to discern their application to life.
- Who’s Afraid of the Dark? Darkness has always held a mysterious quality. Things happen in the night that never seem to occur in daylight. Can that be true of how we discover God at work in our lives? Using Barbara Brown Taylor’s book Learning to Walk in the Darkness, we will explore the subject of spirituality as we walk into the dark places that so often are a part of life.
- Matthew Sometimes it feels good to just read the Bible one book at a time. This small group will read the book of Matthew and discover Jesus the king through the "Life Application Bible Study" resource.
